Fleming, KL (English spelling) FlemingKL

...On the neighboring island of Riddarholmen, powerful aristocrats such as Oxenstjäner fought over the roofs, and the Royal Superior Court was also built there. The first governor, Klas Larsson Fleming (1592-1644), developed the city plan around 1630 modeled on the French Renaissance style, and built the original form of the city. In 1697, Stockholm Castle burned down, but reconstruction began in 1727, bringing together the best of the time, and it still stands today as a representative example of 18th century architecture.
