This was followed by Shingan-ji, built by Yamato no Yakutsugu for Wakasahiko-no-kami in Wakasa during the Yoro era (717-724), Tado-Jinguji (Houn-ji) in Ise by Zen master Mangan in 763 (Tenpyo-hoji 7), and Kashima-Jinguji in Hitachi, built by the same master Mangan during the Tenpyo-shoho era (749-757).
