[Kajikazawa Riverbank]
One of the three banks of the Fuji River in Kai Province (the others are Aoyagi (now Masuho-cho) and Kurosawa (now Ichikawa Daimon-cho)). The place name first appeared in 1547 (Tenbun 16).
