Since the 1930s, with the development of genetics, especially population genetics, it has become possible to view biological evolution as the accumulation of gradual microevolution, such as the emergence of intraspecific variation, differentiation, the formation of varieties, and local varieties, and to explain the evolutionary process genetically. Regarding isolation, the factors that cause isolation in the evolutionary process (isolating mechanisms) have become an issue (Dobzhansky, 1937).
