…In the February Revolution of 1917, he contributed to the establishment of the Provisional Government. His book Notes on the Revolution (1922-23), published in Berlin, is famous for its memoirs of this time. After the October Revolution, he continued to work at a Soviet academic institution, but was arrested in 1931 in the Menshevik National Secretariat case and died in prison. …
