Ocean tides

…the rise and fall of sea level, which is slower than the water level fluctuations caused by wind waves and tsunamis, is called ocean tide. It includes astronomical tides, which are mainly caused by the gravitational force of celestial bodies such as the moon and the sun, meteorological tides caused by changes in the weather, radiation tides, which are thought to be ultimately caused by solar radiation (some meteorological tides are also considered to be radiation tides), and anomalous tides (anomalous sea levels), whose driving force and mechanism of occurrence have not yet been fully understood.
