When the itowarifu was reinstated in 1685 (Jokyo 2), a dispute arose among members of the itowarifu association, and the townspeople appealed to the Sakaimachi Magistrate, the three Shogunate magistrates, and the Roju, and their claims were accepted. This is a record of an unusual incident for the time. 7 volumes. The author is Sakai townspeople Takaishiya Michitaka (Choshichiro, Shinku), a descendant of Takaishiya Munegishi, the head of Sakai in the early Edo period and an itowarifu elder. It was written in 1719-20 (Kyoho 4-5). Today the original is unknown, and there are no clear similarities between the extant copies. It is noteworthy as a record of resistance by urban townspeople in the early modern period against the power of the Shogunate.

1685年(貞享2)糸割符の復活に際して，糸割符仲間の紛争が生じ，町人身分で堺町奉行や幕府の三奉行および老中に訴え，主張を通した，当時としては珍しい事件の記録。7巻。筆者は堺の町人高石屋通喬(長七郎，真句)で，江戸初期の堺の頭人で糸割符年寄をした高石屋宗岸の子孫。1719‐20年(享保4‐5)の執筆になる。今日原本は不明で，現存する写本相互に明確な類似点がない。近世の都市町人の幕府権力に対する抵抗の記録として注目される。
