"Miscellaneous Anatomy Notes"

…An Italian physician. After graduating from the University of Bologna, he studied anatomy under Antonio M. Valsalva (1666-1723), and published Miscellany of Anatomy in 1706. In 1711 he became professor at the University of Padua, a position he held for the rest of his life, and many talented anatomists came from his class.
