Volta

...A stanza is usually divided into two parts with different rhythms, the first part called the fronte and the second part called the sirma. The fronte is further divided into two parts (piede) usually with the same structure, and the sirma can also be divided into two voltas. A line is usually eleven or seven syllables long.
