Kaiser Mountains

From the town, you can take a cable car up to the Kitzbühler Horn, from which you can enjoy a magnificent view of the majestic Eastern Alps. In the northern corner of the border town of Kufstein, which branches off from the main line at Wörgl and enters Germany, stands an old castle and the Kaiser massif, the most representative and steepest of the limestone Alps, boasts a magnificent appearance.

It was originally inhabited by the Illyrians, but the Celts moved in at the end of the 15th century BCE, and it became a Roman province around the 1st century BCE.
