...About 31 genera and 366 species are distributed widely around the world, except for some parts such as Australia. Many of them are large, with a body length of 10 to 15 cm. The largest species are the cane toad B. marinus (illustration) and the Colombian toad B. blombergi , which are found in tropical America and are about 20 cm long. However, the Rose's Toad B. rosei of South Africa is only about 3 cm long, and the forest toads of the genus Pelophryne of Southeast Asia are only 2 to 3 cm long. ...
