Onogi Shigekatsu of Fukuchiyama, who had been the leader of the Western Army, committed suicide in Kameyama, and his territory was confiscated along with Takada Harutada, Ikukuma Nagakatsu, and Kinoshita Toshisada. Fujikake Nagakatsu and Kawakatsu Hideuji were reduced in territory and transferred to other territories. Kameyama came under the control of the shogunate's local magistrate in 2002 after Gen'i's death, and Shigekatsu was transferred to Yakami Castle with 50,000 koku of land, but after just six years he was stripped of his title due to going insane. ...
