Soviet puppet theater director, actor, and writer. Son of the famous railway scholar VN Obraztsov (1874-1949). Initially studied painting at art school, and while still a student he began acting at the Moscow Art Theater Music Studio (renamed the Danchenko Musical Theater in 1926) in 1918, and at the Second Moscow Art Theater from 1930 to 1936. At the same time, he began performing puppet shows in 1920, and in 1931 founded the Puppet Theater attached to the Children's Artistic Education House in Moscow, which performed in various places and received acclaim.

ソ連邦の人形劇の演出家，俳優，作家。著名な鉄道学者V.N.オブラスツォフ(1874‐1949)の息子。はじめ美術学校で絵画を学び，在学中の1918年から俳優としてモスクワ芸術座音楽スタジオ(1926年にダンチェンコ音楽劇場と改称)，30年から36年まで第2モスクワ芸術座の舞台に立った。そのかたわら1920年から人形劇の公演をおこない，31年にモスクワの児童芸術教育会館付属人形劇団を創設し，各地で公演し好評を得た。
