An island in the Chichijima archipelago, in the central part of the Ogasawara Islands, Tokyo. It has an area of about 5.20 km2 . It belongs to Ogasawara Village, Ogasawara Subprefecture. It is located in the northern part of Anijima. It is located at 27°10′ north latitude and 142°11′ east longitude. Sea cliffs have developed around the island. There were inhabitants before World War II, but today it is uninhabited. It belongs to Ogasawara National Park. It was registered as a natural World Heritage Site in 2011.
