[Noun] (kajuputih) An evergreen tall tree of the Myrtaceae family. It is found from Australia to Southeast Asia, and is also cultivated. It grows to a height of 15-30 meters. The bark is white, and the branches hang down. The leaves are alternate and lanceolate, 5-20 centimeters long. From June to October, small pale yellowish-white hemispherical flowers grow in a brush-like pattern on the lower part of the leaves at the ends of the branches. Kajuput oil, extracted from the leaves and having a camphor-like scent, is used as a stimulant and analgesic.
