Oceana

...The acquisition of knowledge and the improvement of human knowledge seem to be essential conditions for utopia. Examples include J. Harrington's The Republic of Oceana (1656), Cyrano de Bergerac's Another World, or the Empire of the Moon (1657), and G. de Fogny's The Unknown Country of the South (1676). All of these works are extremely realistic in content, despite the unusual conception. In contrast, the second type has a strong Christian coloration.
