Omagoshi Highway - Omagoshi Highway

A road that runs from Noshiro City, Akita Prefecture along the Sea of Japan to Hirosaki City, Aomori Prefecture. It has been an important road connecting the territories of the Akita and Tsugaru domains since the Edo period. It is part of National Route 101 (Noshiro City - Aomori City). 秋田県能代市から日本海沿いに青森県弘前市にいたる街道。江戸時代より秋田藩領と津軽藩領を結ぶ重要な街道である。国道 101号線 (能代市－青森市) の一部。街道に沿って，JR五能線が走る。
