A Chinese dictionary written by Liu Qi of the Qing Dynasty. Five volumes. Published in the 50th year of the Kangxi era (1711). "Particles" are also called "empty characters" and refer to demonstratives, conjunctions, particles, adverbs, and the like. This book provides interpretations of 476 particles, classified into four tones: Hei, Shang, Qi, and Nyu, and further cites examples from classics, historical texts, scholars, poems, prose, and verses from the pre-Qin to the Tang and Song dynasties. 中国の字書。清の劉淇 (りゅうき) の著。5巻。康煕 50 (1711) 年刊。「助字」とは虚字ともいわれ，指示詞，接続詞，助詞，副詞などの類をさす。本書は平，上，去，入の四声に分類された 476字の助字について訓釈を施し，さらに，先秦から唐，宋にいたる経書，史書，諸子，詩，文，詞から用例を引いて解釈を施したもの。やや誤りの多い点が指摘され，のちに出た王引之の『経伝釈詞』に比して遜色があるとされるが，清朝考証学がまだ発達をみない時期に，それまでの研究を集大成した点に価値が認められ，以後の研究発展の原動力となった。
