Nakachi Ohno

Japanese: 大野仲仟 - おおののなかち

?-781 A court lady in the Nara period.
Daughter of Ono Azumahito. Wife of Fujiwara no Nagate. In the second year of Tenpyo Jingo, she was promoted to Junior Fourth Rank Lower during Emperor Shotoku's visit to the Nagate residence, and to Senior Fourth Rank Upper during the visit in the third year of Jingo Keiun. In the first year of Hoki, she was promoted to Junior Third Rank, and in the sixth year, Senior Third Rank. She served as Naishi no Kami (Chief of the Naishi Office) and also as Naishi no Kami (Chief of the Treasury Office). She died on March 10, the first year of Teno. Her name was either Nakasen or Nakachi.

大野東人(あずまひと)の娘。藤原永手の妻。天平神護(てんぴょうじんご)2年称徳天皇の永手邸行幸に際し従四位下,神護景雲3年の行幸で正四位上となる。宝亀(ほうき)元年従三位,9年正三位にのぼる。尚侍(ないしのかみ)(内侍司長官)をつとめ,尚蔵(くらのかみ)(蔵司長官)をかねた。天応元年3月10日死去。名は中千,仲智ともかく。
