...It was a seaside manor in the northern part of Ishikawa-gun, Kaga Province (presently the northwestern edge of Kanazawa City), and the relic name is thought to have been Tokuro in Senkoji-cho, Kanazawa City, near the west bank of the mouth of the Sai River. In 1088 (Kanji 2), Kenen, the junior betto of Daigoji Temple, redeveloped part of Ono-go in Kaga Province (Ono-sho in Ishikawa-gun in the Middle Ages), and in return for giving up efforts to recover the temple's land of Takaba-sho and Harita-sho in Kaga Province, which had already been confiscated as provincial government land, the land was given to Daigoji Temple by Kaga no Kami Fujiwara Iemichi in the following year, 1089, and Kenen became its chief priest. From then until the Nanboku-cho period, it was the land of the Juntei-do of Daigoji Temple, and Rishoin, who inherited Kenen's lineage, inherited the position of ryoke by descent. ...
