...The entire area is included in the Ise-Shima National Park, and there are many swimming beaches and campsites. Oshima Island, located off the southern coast, is covered with tropical plants such as Crinum umbellata, and the unusual Shiokake Festival is held on the first day of the sixth month of the lunar calendar. The bronze seated Buddha statue at the Wagu Kannon Hall in Wagu, the center of the area, is an important cultural property.
