Born November 17, 1879. While serving in the Russo-Japanese War, he submitted "Biwa Song" to the Osaka Asahi Shimbun novel contest, which was selected. After returning home, he became a reporter for the Yorozu Choho newspaper. He was active in writing historical stories and novels for boys and girls. He passed away on April 22, 1944, at the age of 66. He was from Kagawa Prefecture. His real name was Kunimatsu. His other pen names were Kotomine and Kokufu Hakuuro.
