Saburo Okubo - Ookubo Saburo

...It is found in the southern and west Kanto areas, from the warm zone of Honshu to Shikoku and Kyushu, and in the high mountains of Taiwan. It was named after Saburo Okubo, an assistant professor at the University of Tokyo, who discovered it in Hakone during the Meiji period.
