Endoglycosidase

Glycosidases that cleave sugar chains are broadly divided into those that remove sugar residues from the end of the sugar chain in monosaccharide units, and those that have a cleavage point inside the sugar chain and release disaccharides or more oligosaccharides. 糖鎖切断酵素(グリコシダーゼ)には，糖残基を糖鎖の末端から単糖単位ではずしていくものと，糖鎖の内部に切断点を有し，2糖以上のオリゴ糖を遊離するものとに大別されるが，後者をいう．エンドは内部という意味．[CAS 52769-51-4]
