Eveny - Evengo (English spelling)

A Tungusic language. Also called Lamut. The language of the Even ethnic minority group (who call themselves Even), who call themselves Even. It is distributed from the right bank of the Lena River in Siberia eastward, through the Yana, Indigirka and Kolyma river regions, the northern coast of the Sea of ​​Okhotsk, central Kamchatka and the Anadyr region further east. In 1989, the Even population was 17,000, of which about 43.9% still speak Even as their mother tongue. The Arman dialect on the northern coast of the Sea of ​​Okhotsk is known as a unique dialect. Of the Tungusic languages, Even is closely related to the Evenki language to the west.

ツングース語の一つ。ラムート語ともいう。少数民族エベン（自称エウェン）の固有の言語。自称はエウェン語。分布は、シベリアのレナ川右岸から東の方へ、ヤナ川・インディギルカ川・コリマ川地方、またオホーツク海北岸、カムチャツカ中部、さらに東のアナディール地方にわたる。1989年のエベンの人口は1万7000人であるが、その約43.9％がいまもエベン語を母語とする。オホーツク海北岸のアルマン方言は特異な方言として知られる。エベン語は、ツングース語のうち、西隣のエベンキ語と親縁関係が深い。
