Edward V - Edward

…the third son of Richard, Duke of York. In 1460, after his father's death in battle, he assisted his brother, and in 1461, after his brother Edward IV ascended to the throne, he was created Duke of Gloucester. In 1470, the Earl of Warwick, who had been the greatest supporter of the House of York and the king's supporter, defected from England, and Henry VI of the House of Lancaster was restored to the throne.
