Born: December 6, 1842, Milan [Died] March 6, 1898. Rome. Italian journalist and politician. He participated in the Sicilian expedition in 1860, and also participated as a volunteer in the Italian War of Independence in 1866. He was elected to the House of Representatives in 1873, and as a leader of the left wing, he was at the forefront of attacks on the government. His violent temper led him to frequently engage in duels, and he died after losing his 33rd duel.
