Furthermore, the toy picture book "Edo Nishiki" (Edo Nishiki) (Kitao Shigemasa), published in 1773 (An'ei 2), depicts 88 types of Edo toys that were popular at the time. Among them are many toys that remain as local toys today and are scattered around the country, such as the nightingale flute, the swinging drum, and the dog hariko. ...
