Its official name is ammonium dihydrogen phosphate. It is also called ammonium monophosphate. Piezoelectric material. Its piezoelectric coefficient is greater than that of quartz, second only to Rochelle salt. It is made into artificial crystals from an aqueous solution. In addition to being used as a piezoelectric element, it is also used in fertilizers, baking powder, dye dispersants, etc.
