AA Meeting - AA Meeting

...A government-level conference of Asian and African countries held in Bandung, Indonesia from April 18 to 24, 1955. It is also called the Bandung Conference or the AA Conference. The conference was invited by the Colombo Group of Ceylon (now Sri Lanka), India, Pakistan, Indonesia, and Burma (now Myanmar) with the aim of expanding the area of ​​peace and actively easing tensions between the East and the West. The conference attracted the official participation of 29 countries, including 15 Asian countries, including Japan and China, 8 Middle Eastern countries, and 6 African countries, and contributed to strengthening solidarity between Asia and Africa based on anti-imperialist and anti-colonial themes.
