Natural childbirth is a birth that occurs by natural birth force without artificial assistance (except for perineal protection and minor episiotomy), while artificial childbirth is one in which artificial assistance is added. Normal childbirth is when, during the normal pregnancy period, the development of the fetus and its appendages, the birth canal, and the birth force are all appropriate, the cervix dilates smoothly, the presenting part descends, birth is completed vaginally within a certain time, and neither the mother nor the child suffers any damage from birth.
