The B. jararaca and B. alternatus snakes, found in southern Brazil and Paraguay, are 1.5 meters long and have venomous fangs that are just over 2 cm long. They are numerous and aggressive, causing many damage. They are highly toxic, and can leap so far that their bodies almost leave the ground, and they pounce quickly and silently, making them extremely dangerous.
