An island in the Shiwaku Islands located about 8 km north of Marugame Port in Marugame City, Kagawa Prefecture. Its area is about 0.84 square kilometers. It is used for aquaculture of seaweed and citrus cultivation. During the Edo period, it was the home base of Maruo Gozaemon, a wealthy merchant who was also known as the "King of the Inland Sea" and a shipping company that dominated the Seto Inland Sea.
