(12) Right dextrocardia
Dextrocardia refers to a condition in which the heart is primarily located on the right side of the thoracic cavity, regardless of the reason. It also includes cases resulting from secondary movement following an acquired right pneumonectomy. It can occur congenitally in cases of situs solitus, situs inversus, or situs ambigus, but structural heart disease is rare in cases of situs inversus. Corrected transposition of the great arteries is said to be more common in cases of situs solitus. For more information on situs ambiguus, please refer to asplenia-polysplenia syndrome.  右胸心はどのような理由でも,心臓が主として胸腔の右側にあるものを指す.後天的に右肺摘出を行い二次性の移動で生じたものも含まれる.先天的には内臓正位(situs solitus),内臓逆位(situs inversus),内臓不定位(situs ambigus)のいずれの場合にも生じえるが,内臓逆位の場合には構造的心疾患はまれである.内臓正位の場合には修正大血管転位が多いとされている.内臓不定位に関しては無脾多脾症候群を参照されたい.【⇨5-8-10)-(16)】[山田 修]
