Electrochemical painting - Denchatoso

Japanese: 電着塗装 - でんちゃくとそう
Electrochemical painting - Denchatoso
A method of painting metal substrates. The substrate is immersed in water-soluble or water-dispersible paint, and a direct current is passed through the substrate and the paint bath as electrodes, depositing a film on the substrate electrode. This method is widely used for painting automobile bodies, electrical equipment parts, etc., because it can paint even complex shapes with a uniform thickness, has little loss, takes a short painting time, and is economical and safe.
