The name of a Tibetan temple. It is also written as Daizhao Temple. The Tibetan name is Phrulsnang. It is said to have been built by the wife of King Songtsen Gampo, Princess of Nepal, and is believed to have been a family temple built shortly after the king's death. Jo or Choo means a statue of Sakyamuni, and Kang means temple. The Choo enshrined here was brought from the Tang Dynasty by Princess Wencheng and was originally enshrined at Ramoche (Little Zhao Temple).
