Ainosuke Iwata

Japanese: 岩田愛之助 - いわたあいのすけ

1890-1950 A nationalist from the Taisho to early Showa periods.
Born on January 3, 1890. Sentenced to life imprisonment for instigating murder in the assassination of Abe Shutaro, Director-General of the Political Affairs Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in 1913. After being released on parole, he founded the Aikokusha in 1928. He also organized the Patriotic Youth League, the International Anti-Communist League, and the Anti-China Comrades Association. He passed away on March 15, 1950. He was 60 years old. He was from Hyogo Prefecture.

明治23年1月3日生まれ。大正2年の阿部守太郎外務省政務局長暗殺事件で殺人教唆の罪で無期懲役となる。仮出獄後の昭和3年愛国社を結成。ほかに愛国青年連盟,国際反共連盟,対支同志会などを組織した。昭和25年3月15日死去。60歳。兵庫県出身。
