Iruka Shinden

...It is one of the few large ponds built to accommodate the relocation of an old village. After the pond was completed, the effect was the development of over 800 hectares of wilderness, with a rice yield of over 6,830 koku. For a long time, Iruka Shinden, which was opened up by the access of Iruka Pond, bordered many old villages, and was marked separately on maps in several places as Iruka Shinden. Combined with the old irrigation tanbetsu (rice fields that were originally paddy fields and were irrigated by Iruka Pond after the construction of the pond), the irrigation area was over 15,310 koku.
