Iliupersis - Iliupersis

...The first decorative sculpture group (448-443 BC) consisted of 92 panels, 14 on each side of the east and west, and 32 on each side of the north and south, with thick Ionic-style reliefs on the metopes. The east, west, north and south panels respectively had the Gigantomachy (the battle between the giants and the gods), the Amazonomachy (the battle between the Amazons and the Greeks), the Centauromachy (the battle between the Centaurs and the Lapithais), and the Iliupersis (the fall of Troy). Currently, only about 18 panels from the Centauromachy on the south side are visible.
