Flyer

Japanese: ちらし
Flyer
A term used in Japanese performing arts and music. It can also be written as "chirashi" or "san." It refers to the concluding or additional part of a piece of music, and is said to have originated from the word "kimono wo sansu" (to scatter one's mood). In particular, in kabuki dance, jiuta, and sokyoku, it refers to a component part with certain characteristics. In folk performing arts, it also refers to the concluding form of a particular dance or an additional song. In kabuki dance and the shamisen music that accompanies it, it refers to the part just before the "dangire" (cut) part of the final piece, with a fast tempo and vigorous movements, and when accompanied by hayashi music, the large and small drums play typical lively hand movements.

Flyer

A small, single-page printed matter distributed for advertising and promotional purposes. Villa Also known as "bill," the term is usually used to refer to those used for commercial advertising. The word "bill" comes from the Latin "bulla," which means a strip of paper but also an official document. The world's first handwritten bills were seen in Roman bookstores. The first printed bills were published in 1477 by the English publisher Caxton, advertising a religious book called "Salsebury's Pie." In Japan, bills were known in the early modern period as "hikifuda" in Edo and "chirashi" in Osaka.
