...The Atlantic coast of Mauritania is a good fishing ground, and the Wolof people use canoes and sailing boats to line and gill net fish for sea bream, grouper, and horse mackerel. The Arab Imragen people are also known for their unique fishing method of using a swivel net to catch mullet chased by dolphins, and unlike Arabs, they eat fish. The Wolof and others are also engaged in freshwater fishing in the Senegal River.
