Kamiyamada Line - Kamiyamada Line

In July 1907, the railway was transferred to the national government under the Nationalization of Railways Act and became the Nagao Line. In December 1954, the line was completed to Harada, and at the same time, the section between Wakamatsu and Harada was renamed the Chikuho Main Line, and the section between Iizuka and Kamiyamada was renamed the Kamiyamada Line.
