...Population: 19,582 (1995). The Inan Mountains, with Mount Konno (865m) towering to the north as its main peak, and its spurs, make up most of the city area. The Ashizuri Peninsula, which stretches to the southeast, faces Cape Muroto to the east and embraces Tosa Bay. Coastal terraces have developed here and there, and there are many sea cliffs.
