Born: December 17, 1775, Saga [Died] September 19, 1836. A Tsukushigoto player in the mid-Edo period in Saga. Son of Imaizumi Rokudayu Kamitsuna, a samurai of the Saga domain, Naofumi. Childhood names were Hayashisaburo and Rokuroji. Also known as Yosei, Masuoki, and Itaka. He studied Chinese classics under Ito Zenryu, and opened a private school, which he called Risseido. In Bunka 7 (1810), he became a retainer, and in Bunsei 12, he became a yūhitsu. He learned the Tsukushigoto from Ito Sukeyuki in Bunsei 3, and after retiring from the government in Bunsei 9 (26), he devoted himself to it, taking the name Kinsen. In Tenpo 5 (34), he wrote "Shokyokaku Koto Stories." His son Chiaki also inherited the Tsukushigoto, and taught it to Noda Chōshō, who passed it down to the present day.
