[Born] Tenpo 7 (1836) [Died] 1911 Kabuki actor. His stage name was Mikawaya. He was the adopted son of Ichikawa Danzo VI. He was a great actor on par with Ichikawa Danjuro IX in terms of technique, but he was not accepted into the main theater scene and lived an unfortunate life.
