Diomedea exulans

... There are two genera and 14 species of albatrosses in the world. They are mostly found in the Southern Hemisphere, with nine species found on islands around the Antarctic. The largest species, the wandering albatross, Diomedea exulans , has a wingspan of up to 3.3m. A recently discovered new species, D. amsterdamensis , breeds on Amsterdam Island in the subtropical waters of the southern Indian Ocean.
