Guard Ishida - Morie Ishida

Japanese: 石田守衛 - いしだもりえ

...After the Asakusa Opera era ended, this light theater troupe was founded in 1929 at the Aquarium Entertainment Hall in Asakusa, Tokyo. The actors included Kenichi Enomoto (Enoken), Morie Ishida, Zeko Nakamura, and Ryuko Umezono (dancer), and the literary club included Ryuzo Shimamura and Hisao Yamada. They performed skits that satirized current affairs by mixing songs, dances, and gags, and gained popularity by participating in the "erotic, grotesque, nonsense era" of the time. The following year, Enoken left the troupe and formed the New Casino Folies, and Morie Ishida and the others' Casino Folies disbanded in 1933.
