[Premise]
As the concept of the Industrial Revolution itself is diverse, there is no consensus on its beginning and end. In the past, it was vaguely placed between the 1760s and the first half of the 19th century, based on the timing of important inventions in the cotton industry, but theories have suggested that it began in the 1740s or 1780s, in relation to the starting point of population growth and per capita income growth. As for the end of the Industrial Revolution, suggestions have been made that it began with the establishment of machine industries (the production of machines by machines themselves), which marked the tentative completion of a new technological system, or with the beginning of a capitalist depression (1848), which marked the establishment of industrial capitalism.
