Sulfur determination method

Sulfur determination method

...Later research (the molecular formula is (OH) 3 C 6 H 2 COOH) proved the accuracy of Liebig's experimental formula and analysis.
[Halogen and sulfur quantitative analysis]
Many analytical methods have been proposed and are in use for this element, but the flask combustion method by W. Schöniger is currently the most frequently used. The principle is that after combustion in oxygen, the halogen ions or sulfate ions absorbed in an absorbing solution are quantified by titration or other methods.
