A sweet cocktail based on brandy. Place 30ml of brandy, 15ml of creme de cacao, and 15ml of cream in a shaker, add ice, shake, and pour into a glass. This cocktail is said to have been dedicated to Alexandra, the future King Edward VII of England, and Princess Alexandra of Denmark, in 1863 to commemorate their marriage. It was originally called "Alexandra," but the name was changed to this one at some point. In the film "Days of Wine and Roses," the female protagonist, who is offered this cocktail, eventually becomes an alcoholic.

ブランデーをベースにした甘口のカクテル。ブランデー30ml，クレーム・ド・カカオ15ml，生クリーム15mlをシェーカーに入れ，氷を加えてシェークしてグラスに注ぐ。1863年，のちの英国国王エドワード７世とデンマーク王女アレキサンドラの結婚を記念してアレキサンドラに捧げられたといわれるカクテル。当初は〈アレキサンドラ〉と呼ばれていたが，いつのまにかこの名に変わった。映画《酒とバラの日々》では，このカクテルを勧められた女主人公がやがてアルコール依存症になってゆく。
